A Skillful Teacher is Made, Not Born
It was over 40 years ago, in the first edition of The Skillful Teacher, that Jon Saphier first detailed the research-based pedagogical skills it takes to be an effective teacher. Since then, Jon Saphier and his RBT colleagues have continued to build on this knowledge and engage teachers and leaders across the country in the deep study of what we call high-expertise teaching.
RBT would like to recognize and share the outstanding work of teachers across the country who are working hard to put into practice the skills from The Skillful Teacher in order to provide their students with better teaching every day.
If you want to showcase your skillful teaching or that of a colleague, submit your video today!
