In Lynchburg, VA RBT had several in-district instructors trained very thoroughly by RBT Consultant, Ruth Sernak. This video was filmed during the third year of our program and many teachers have been through the course. Their testimony is based on the improvements in their teaching that have come about based on their participation. Notice that many are senior, experienced teachers.


Consider the following activities for application of this video's content:


Have teachers view this clip and practice writing mastery objectives for an upcoming lesson. Have peers critique each other's written objective.

Practice what you would say aloud to students to put the objective in student-friendly language.
