The 2020 Skillful Teacher Video Contest

It was 40 years ago, in the first edition of The Skillful Teacher, that Jon Saphier first detailed the research-based pedagogical skills it takes to be an effective teacher. Since then, Dr. Saphier and his RBT colleagues have continued to build on this knowledge and engage teachers and leaders across the country in the deep study of what we call high-expertise teaching.

The 2020 Skillful Teacher video contest was designed to recognize and share the outstanding work of teachers across the country who are working hard to put into practice the skills from The Skillful Teacher in order to provide their students with better teaching every day.
